ASIC Banned/Disqualified Register
The Banned & Disqualified search specifically provides information about people who have been:
- Removed from management operations
- Removed from SMSF’s (Self-managed superannuation funds)
- Banned from working in credit or financial services.
This is a specific check relevant for anyone who may be in a position of authority or if your organisation has staff who are singularly responsible for an area. More often than not this check will show Directorships that have not been cancelled — allowing your company to ensure former employers are not putting your new recruit at risk, should they begin to experience administrative issues.
